About

Daphne Huguette is a Melbourne-based jewellery house whose work sits between contemporary design and classical technique.

Shaped by time spent between Yogyakarta and Amsterdam, two cities with deep making traditions, the approach is considered and unhurried. Close attention is paid to proportion, comfort, and detail.

Each piece is designed in-house and made in close collaboration with a small group of trusted local makers, some of whom have been refining their craft for decades. Each piece that we create includes a detail that feels slightly unexpected; a proportion, a setting, an element that makes it distinctly its own.

We work with 100% recycled gold and responsibly sourced stones, and because every piece is made to order, nothing is produced without purpose.

Production begins with an individual wax model, worked on before being cast in solid gold. Available in 9ct, 14ct, and 18ct. Every piece is individually cast and made to order, meaning no two are exactly alike.

Minor variations in finish and gemstone appearance are a natural part of the process, and part of what makes each piece unique.
