1. Using the Site

Provide accurate personal and payment information.

Orders may be declined at our discretion.

We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect information or use of the site.

2. Orders & Production

Every item is handmade to order and typically takes 6–8 weeks.

Each piece is unique; minor variations in finish or gemstone appearance are normal and not defects.

Prices may change without notice.

Order Confirmation:

• You will receive an email once your order is accepted.

• Incorrect details that cause delays or returned shipments are your responsibility, including extra shipping costs.

3. Custom & Bespoke Work

Before production, you will receive a digital sketch or wax prototype.

Up to two minor adjustments are included; additional changes may incur fees and extend timelines.

Approval of the sketch or wax prototype confirms final design and authorises production.

Once production begins, cancellations or further design changes are not permitted.

4. Client-Supplied Gemstones

We accept diamonds and sapphires only.

Vintage or heirloom stones carry inherent risk of damage during setting or production.

By submitting stones, you accept this risk. Daphne Huguette is not liable for damage or loss of client-supplied stones.

5. Shipping & Collection

You will be notified when your piece is ready.

Shipments are tracked and insured where possible.

International clients are responsible for customs duties and import fees.

Risk transfers to the client upon delivery or collection.

6. Craftsmanship Guarantee

We offer a 6-month workmanship guarantee for manufacturing faults. 

Proof of purchase is required; warranty is valid only for the original buyer.

This does not cover:

• • Wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse

  • Third-party modifications

  • Damage to client-supplied gemstones
    

7. Photography & Portfolio

Completed pieces may be photographed for portfolio or marketing purposes.

Clients may request privacy in writing before production begins.

8. Liability

Liability is limited to the value of the purchased item.

Daphne Huguette is not responsible for indirect, consequential, or third-party losses.

Timelines are estimates; delays may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., gemstone sourcing or production).

9. Acceptance

By ordering, paying a deposit, or approving a design, you confirm that you:

Have reviewed and approved all order details

Accept production timelines, pricing, and these Terms & Conditions

Authorise us to proceed with production or shipment

Digital confirmation via email or website constitutes a legally binding agreement.
